Patrick McBride was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He attended the University of Miami for his undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor Degree in Accounting in 2013. Mr. McBride stayed in Miami to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 2016, graduating summa cum laude.
While in law school, Mr. McBride was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. As a member, he wrote a peer-reviewed article on the topic of bankruptcy law. He also earned the John F. Evans Memorial Scholarship for his performance in the Litigation Skills course at Miami Law.
Mr. McBride gained experience as a certified legal intern in the County Court Division of the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office in 2016. In addition, he has experience clerking in the litigation department of two boutique law firms.
Mr. McBride was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016 and has been a member of the construction litigation department since October 2016.
