Kristen Schlotzhauer – ASSOCIATE

Kristen Schlotzhauer was born in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in English from the University of Miami in 2014. Ms. Schlotzhauer then earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2017. While attending law school, Ms. Schlotzhauer was a recipient of the St. Thomas University School of Law’s Law Merit Scholarship. She was also a recipient of a Dean’s Award and a member of the St. Thomas Trial Team. Ms. Schlotzhauer earned book awards in Constitutional Law, Property, Criminal Law, and Election Law. Prior to joining DRBDC, Ms. Schlotzhauer practiced in the areas of collections, bankruptcy, and first-party property insurance litigation. She currently focuses her practice on complex construction litigation and design professional liability. Ms. Schlotzhauer is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Ms. Schlotzhauer is fluent in Spanish.
